Fifth Annual Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest Set for October 6, 2018
TAMPA, FL - On Saturday, October 6, the Event Development Institute (EDI) and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC) will join forces once again to host the fifth annual Tampa Bay’s Tailgate Taste Fest presented by Coca Cola Beverages Florida. The Bay’s best tailgating foods will be on display as the festival returns to the picturesque Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa. The festival will begin at 3:00pm and continue through 10:30pm.
Attendees will enjoy the day’s best college football matchups on two, large LED screens, live music, cold beer courtesy of Pepin Distributing and plenty of the best food from around Tampa Bay. Kids and adults alike will enjoy family-friendly activities in the Fan Zone featuring activations from some of the area’s sports franchises.
“Our goal with this event is to provide the ultimate tailgating experience and give locals and visitors an excuse to visit one of our area’s most iconic city parks” says Jenna Grooms, Event Manager for the Event Development Institute. “The event really has it all, from a cornhole tournament and kid-friendly inflatables, to live music and great food and drinks – it’s all-things tailgate with Tampa flair.”
Admission is FREE and the event is family- and dog-friendly. Food sample and VIT (Very Important Tailgater) wristbands are available for purchase online now as well as on site the day of the event.
